10, 50, 70?!!!!

Hello People! Things are going pretty good here at the Kurut household. Kendel had her 2 month check up and she is in the 10th% percentile for height, 50th for weight, 97th for hair, and 70th for her noggin!!!! Well, the hair thing was a joke, but her head is seriously in the 70th percentile. She now weighs 10 lbs 10 oz. That is a weight gain of 4 pounds in 2 months. I just tell her to enjoy it while it lasts, because before long weight gain will be a bad thing. The only kind of fat that is cute is baby fat! She was eating about every 3 hours on the dot, which is more often than the previous 6 weeks. Now, she is getting back to normal. Last night was her first night in her crib. We have had her in a pack n play in our room because our bedroom is downstairs while the kids' are upstairs. So, i did not want to be going up the stairs that many times each night. Since the doc told me that we need to let her cry herself to sleep, I had to her upstairs to help me not give in to her crying. She is actually crying right now, so i am staying up until she goes to sleep so i can turn the monitor back up. Anyway, she is doing really well. She smiles a lot and I can just tell that she is going to be such a fun lil gal!We are truly blessed.

Tanner is doing great too. I cannot believe how much he already loves his baby sister. If he sees her laying on the couch or floor, he HAS to get up and lay beside her. He then plays with her hair, kisses her, pokes her eyes, and holds her hand. I just looooove it. It melts my heart every time. Oh my gosh, I think Kendel is falling asleep on her own!!!! This is a huuuuge deal because we never really let tanner cry himself to sleep until recent months. He didn't sleep through the night until he was over a year old. Now he goes to bed pretty happily. I think this is because he knows he is tired and just wants to lie on his pillow in his bed with is "b" (blanky), "c" (pacy) and pillow. Anyway, Tanner has been going through a pretty "spoiled" stage since we have been more lenient due to teething. So, we are getting him back in the groove, and today he was an absolute angel. So, we went to Chuck E Cheese to play games and ride a few kiddie rides. Tanman was da MAN! Oh and we went to help with construction at Blackhawk for our Christmas play. Tanner wore his ToolBelt that PawPaw got him from Menards. He even brought his hammer and some other tool that i am not sure what it is called!
This week, we turned our fireplace on for the first time, so we have all been snuggling on the floor while watching a little tv or wrestling around on the floor. Tanner loves to bug his mommy--not so sure WHY he picks on me more than his dad....tee hee.
