update in pics

Look at the tanman mowing with daddy! EVERY year since you were over the age of one, you have spent at least one time mowing up and down nearly every row with daddy. It just makes me smile :-) You are so intense about it bubby. I know you will be such a hard worker! :-)
A new phase you have been going through is your "ipod jamtime" you love to wear it around the house and jamjamjam. Kia got you hooked on it :-) You also love to play with mommy's ipod touch (which i am sure will totally be so outdated by the time you read these :-). You play racecar games, an animal matching game. All that great stuff! In this picture with you and Kendel playing with the merry-go-round, you kept saying, "are you done yet?" "how about now?" etc. her response was "nope not, yet" In a wittle bit" Then you said, "30 o'clock, is that when you will be done?" Everything is 30 o'clock! We teach you guys the time by saying :when the clock goes up, down, to the right, or to the left " If it is two minutes till and
we tell you its bed time, you say "nope, the clocks not up yet" You are our little businessman!
Kendel!!! You are going to be 3 years old in less than two months! This seems like crazy talk! You continue to be our crazy wild child and boy do you make us laugh. The other night you told daddy "if mommy doesn't snuggle me, monsters will come in" Then, last night you snuck down into my room and convinced me to let you sleep with me..too precious! Your blankie continues to get smaller and smaller cause nana has to keep cutting it down. You chew on it and it gets NASTY! Man, do you get mad if you can't find that thing. Daddy has been gone this week for a regional meeting in St Louis. He set up our computer so he could do facetime with us. I am thinking that you are more excited watching yourself on the mac than you are about seeing daddy. Tonight, he did your Bible time through the computer. That was adorable! I will be posting those pics for you guys! The other day, just you and I went to church. On the way home you said, "that man put a papa' towel on my head" I asked why and you said "cause him a silly boy" You also told me you had fish for a snacks and were very adamant that they were not fish crackers, goldfish...just fish! However, i saw muffins or something on the snack table...that's just you! :-) love it! You give the best kisses ever with your adorable little lips :-) You are working hard at potty training these days. you get so excited and we both shriek with pride and joy EVERY time you go on the potty :-)
Easty Beasty Boy!!! You are just the cutest little boy. You have been changing a lot these past couple weeks. You get so upset if you are being held by somebody you do not know. Its so sad, because you look around for mommy and daddy and just frown and cry. When you get nervous and upset while mommy or daddy are holding you, you push the back of your head against our chest and put your hands above our head while trying to grab us. The other day, i actually teared up when i dropped you off at sunday school, because you were starting to cry. You are are my first baby to become so attached so young. You are eating a ton as usual. Tonight you had jars of baby food for dinner ( dont tell the dr). You keep babbling "bahbah" and we are wondering if you actually know what you are saying because we call your bottles bahbah . You refuse to do sign language for me. You pretty much laugh at me when i do it! rascal! You actually love your tummy time. Your jumper is the best thing ever. Mommy calls you bubbalicious and daddy calls you fuzzy bear. Nowadays when you get mad, you flex yourself stiff straight and loud scream. It's wicked! Okie doke ole' man, love you!
July 4th-7th, we went on our first family vacation. We went to Aunt Cathy and Uncle Dan's house. Then, we went to the Indianapolis Children's museum and Caribbean Cove, because we had buy one night, get one free! Of course, you guys didnt really care about the water park. you were most excited about the pool (which would have been free at the Y!) But, we wanted to start a traditional yearly family vacae. We started out small and hope to make many many fond memories. We cherish you guys more than you will ever know!
