Fall is winding down, which is a very exciting thing, because this baby is COMING! We have the C/S scheduled for December 9th, which could not come soon enough :-) C'mon baby Easton!
I love how tanner is doing his hair in the mirror. He was using my comb and eyelash curler. He is such an awesome mommy's boy. He loves to shop with me, have me do his hair, and give me lots of snuggles! Kendel is really becoming my lover girl too. She is still bossy and fiesty, but has such a great sense of humor. We are teaching her how to give sweet lovin'--that does not come easily for her, but she's catching on!
The kids also got to enjoy the "fall festivities" by decorating a pumpkin with their second cousins, sara and paige! They had a such a great time workin those girls over :-)
A week or so ago i was downstairs while the kiddos were playing upstairs. I noticed that something smelled good, but didn't think anything of it. Then, i noticed I had to keep sneezing, still didnt think anything of it. Sure enough Tanner stood at the top of the stairs and said "Mommy, look at me, I found something that makes me all nice and warm. " I walked up to the top of the stairs to find a cloud of white baby powder all throughout tanners room, my brown children were now white from head to toe--white had white skin, and white clothes. I would have taken some pics, but did not have the camera and we were all coughing and sneezing, so I wanted to get them cleaned up asap! After bath, i went downstairs and could see a white fog in the kitchen as well. WOWSAS!
Tanner had his first dentist appoint last tuesday. He did awesome! He told the dentist, "I don't like your toothpaste, its just weird" Tanner also told mommy that when she goes to the dentist "you just gotta be tough. The toothpaste is kinda yucky though, but you just gotta do it"
However, the following day was very sad as it Tanman had surgery on both of his thumbs. He had trigger thumb, which was preventing his thumbs from straightening all the way as well as increased pain. Therefore, he had to have a tendon released in each thumb. He was quite the flirt with the nurses. My favorite part was whenever somebody would walk by, he would say "look at my thumbs, see?" and give them a crooked 2 thumbs up with a squinty face....just like the pic!
Overall, Tanman handled the surgery very well as expected. It was just difficult knowing our lil man was going to be put under. The most difficult thing was when he woke up and was confused and upset. But, he really did bounce back pretty well and never complained again. Amazing!
Our first family game night took place a few weeks ago with Dora Birthday Candyland. The pictures pretty much explain how that went. Everyone started out out playing well. About 5 minutes later, Kendel ended up on the game table...she's crazy and we Love it!
She is quite demanding as she demands for mommy to: "go away! Sit down! Lay down mommy! Mommy, don't biiiiiite. She also says "baby cuuuuute" "i wan dadd deee hold-eeee" "i wan daddy open for me" "wuv you bobo" "mommy break it" daddeee did it" She will rub my preggo belly and kiss it or lay her head on it her yes response to everything is "uh-huh"
I think this is pretty much everything. We will hopefully be displaying new pics of Baby Easton on our next post! *so Blessed*
