i NEVER even dreamed of being this blessed!

Hi again! The past two weeks have been going great for us since starting my new job. Tanner is officially wearing "unnies" at all times, except "nigh nigh." So, we are so thankful for that as it is not only saving money on diapers, but turning our boy into a "big boy." He is sooo proud. I must say though that those unnies run small nowadays. He is barely in size 2t jeans, but his unnies are size 2t/3t and are almost too tight on the wasteband. I dont get it. Speaking of which, the poor lil guys doesnt have a very good set of cheekies, so his pants are always falling off! We get the adjustable pants and tighten them as much as they will go, but the ones that do not adjust are huge! Yep, the poor lil guy is almost 3 and will be wearing 2t for awhile! Although, I cannot complain cause I usually buy the kids clothes the year before at the end of the season. That way they are on clearance. A month or so ago, i went to macy's and found their 4.99 and 9.99 racks of name brand clothes (nike, puma, polo, levi's, etc) and they were an additional 50% off!!!! So, i got all of kendel's spring summer and fall clothes for 2.50 and 5.00!!!
The pics of the kids in the driveway are from a few days ago when the mower was broken. Tanner was saying "daddy, maybe its broken down thay'er" (he says down thay're a lot), "daddy, may you need air in the tires" daddy, maybe the battery needs charged" daddy you want me to help you?" Mommy, I am gonna stand by you"  Then, Kendel....she was just doing her own thing. She is hilarious.....we say that kendel is....special...... and we LOVE IT ;-) she is sooooo funny. She learned to say "nuh uhhh'uh" in a really snotty way this week. She must have learned that at daycare. One example of our lil girl's personality is as follows: We got the kids each a toy at target. Kendel's toy was a baby doll that coos and says mama. Well, if you look closely at the picture of her with her stroller on the sidewalk and she is leaning over to pick up a leaf off the ground, her baby is in the background lying facedown on the sidewalk. I said, "kendel your poor baby is left on the sidewalk all by herself" Kendel looked back at the baby, looked at the ground and continued to fill her stroller with leaves" Then the other day she filled her grocery care with leaves they THREW the baby on top of them. Guess you had to be there ;-)
So yeah, about the toys at target...We neede to buy unnies at target and so we went as a family....i thought we were going as a family to make a big deal out of tanner getting new unnies....well, daddy had other things in mind. He immediately took the kids to the toy aisle. I specifically put a $10 limit on each kid. Of course he comes back with this huuuuge box with trucks and kendel had her thing picked out. Each was $20! Joe's response was "but that's what he wanted and look at everything you get" So, i am sitting there lecturing my husband in the toy aisle about how the kids cannot get everything they want while this other lady is lecturing her 6 year old on the same thing!!!!! I was not happy cause trucks were junk in my mind! lol. BUT, Joe and the kids were happy, right?!
So far, Kendel is saying, tank you, moe (more), all done, bye, uh uhhhhhh, mama, daddeee, bolp bolp bolp! (stands for the movie bolt which she loves and tanner loves ice age "free"). Tanner has been so lovey dovey as he has been walking up to kendel every day saying, I wuve you kendel, or mommy you wanna snuggle me? Do you wanna come play with me?!  It's ur turn mommy/daddy; he even shares some of his pee potty prizes with kendel (they are typically candy) and he knows he can win me over on ANYTHING if he plays with my hair and rubs the back of my neck or face!!! oh, i can't stand it its too sweet. Now, Kendel is kissing me a lot at times. other times she goes to kiss me and then scratches my face at the last second while screaming  uhhhh" If daddy hugs or holds me, game over, she literally attacks me....same thing with tanner, if he is getting too much love, she will so take him down!so, we are working on softening her lill "bubba-ness". Okie doke, needs to watch some of those colts and go nigh nigh@ I work a lot this weee. I LOVE MY FAMILY!
