So, Tanner has been calling me saysee and just started yelling "doe" for JOe. Its so funny as we try and try to teach him all this stuff and then of all things he learns our names--when we don't even tell him to say that! He is so cute. I am sad, because today tanner went to daycare, then to his gramma and ThaTha's house. He is spending the night there. I will not get to see him 'til tomorrow after school! That is nearly 24 hours!!!
Last night he had fun playing with his friends, Ayden and Amelia. Amelia just broke her leg last week and it sooooo sad. I went to high school with their mom and we have remained friends since. And now the addition we live in is connected to their addition, so we get to hang out. Anyway, it is so obvious that Tanner is an only child when he gets together with other kids who have siblings. He is the more quiet and laid back guy who just lays there when the other kids push him or tackle him. He has the look like "what is going on...i cant believe you just did that." Therefore, the interaction with other kids has been really good for him. He was following Ayden (he's 3) all over the house last night and when he got knocked down, he would get right back up again without crying.
The pics you see are from Friday when Melissa and Lisa, another great friend from high school, got together. Lisa's kids are Bryce and Ethan. They were all at Melissa's house and Tanner is sooo hooked on the Gator. He just wanted to ride it all day long. Melissa even had to take him for a ride! So, they all had fun playing in the sand and swinging. Well, enjoy the pics!
